  • The Ekiti Crisis: Where a police station was burned down and an innocent citizen was killed, with zero prosecutions to date.

  • The Warning: AFPCN Executive Member Robinson Akpua and colleagues warned that if these patterns are not urgently suppressed by the Police, DSS, and the Military, the 2027 general election will be incredibly bloody.
"We cannot allow the blood of innocent Nigerians to be used to conduct elections. If this happened in just an off-cycle election, imagine the scale of violence we face in the general elections if internal security is not addressed."

On a rare positive note, the association verified that President Tinubu’s administration has recorded a historic 411% increment in non-crude and oil revenues, crossing a staggering 20 Trillion Naira threshold.
However, the group insisted that these astronomical figures mean nothing if the citizens are starving. They demanded that the presidency instantly redirect these trillions out of federal vaults and directly into large-scale agriculture and social safety nets to lower the cost of living on the streets.
